A Series of Unfortunate Events Author: Lemony Snicket	Its no Roald Dahl but it is cute and charming. I read all of itin one sitting.

Brave New World Author: Aldous Huxely	I think I actually like this one better than 1984. But the world controller coming in and stating the thesis of the book was a bit stupid. I can read thank you!

Castle in the Air Author: Diana Wynne Jones	Just as lovely and light as "Howl's Moving Castle" The end wasa bit off though.

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency Author: Douglas Adams	If you love Douglas Adams, this is a good book. If you love Hitch Hikers Guide, stick to that.

Ender's Game Author: Orson Scott Card	Ender is trained from a very young age to be the soldier that saves the planet but at a very high cost to our humanity. Very awesome!

Farewell to Arms Author: Ernest Hemingway	I kept thinking it was going somewhere but I never found out where.

Flowers for Algernon Author: Daniel Keyes	Child like man gets smart, learns its not all that and wants toget child like again.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Author: J.K Rowling	Insert Keanu Reeves type "Whoa..." here. Now I only have to wait for the 7th.

Harry Potter, Order of the Phoenix Author: J.K. Rowling	I've reread and reviewed, now I'm ready for more! July 16th baby!

Howl's Moving Castle Author: Diana Wynne Jones	Thanks for the suggestion Jo. I heard the movie is nothing likeit and terrible but I think I want to see it anyways. I really liked this book.

Memoirs of a Geisha Author: Arthur Golden	Just as good as all the buzz, and potentially better.

Mirror Mirror Author: Gregory Maguire	Ugh, finally done. Good bye and good riddance.

More Tales of the City Author: Amistead Maupin	Couldn't get enough of the first so I moved onto the sequel.

Mutant Message Down Under Author: Marlo Morgan	About the Australian Real People Aboriginal Tribe and their message to the world about how life should be lived, cherished and never taken forgranted. A good book to get your life priorities sorted out.

Night Author: Elie Wiesel	A true tale from the holocaust. Very good, but obviously not happy in any way.

Pride and Predjudice Author: Jane Austen	A classic for a reason! But my dirty secret is that I only readit cause the BBC series was so amazing. Oh, Mr. Darcy!!!

Sense and Sensibility Author: Jane Austen	I think I'm really beginning to like Jane Austen.

Speaker for the Dead Author: Orson Scott Card	Sequel to "Ender's Game", a good read but now I want to read theothers that I hear are not as good. Dilemma...

Tales of the City Author: Amistead Maupin	I could barely put this down. Short chapters and alot ofgreat characters. The lives of 30 somethings in post hippie San Fransico.

The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing Author: Melissa Banks	Beautiful in simplicity. I hate books that take themselves tooseriously. This does not fall into that category. Just a girl, getting through girl things.

The Golden Compass Author: Phillip Pullman	Another hit recommendation from Jo! Can't wait to read the restof the series.

The Magician's Nephew Author: C.S. Lewin	Trying to squeeze it in before the end of the year. I.e. tomorrow.

The Summer Tree Author: Guy Gavriel Kay	Damn, it was one of those series books where you must, yes, MUST, read the rest, even if you were only mildly interested such as I was.

The Swiss Family Robinson Author: Johann Rudolph Wyss	This one is all about the footnotes. No plot just interesting flora and fauna. Cool.

The Third Magic Author: Welwyn Wilton Katz	So I read it again and it was good again. I forgot about the bit with the bloody severed head though. This was for kids?

The Wicked Day Author: Mary Stewart	The Merlin trilogy should have died with Merlin. It was terrible.

Tuesdays with Morrie Author: Mitch Albom	Life lessons from a dying man. I liked it but it wasn't a favourite.
